Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Autodidact. These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and ADidact Inc ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") governing your access to and use of the Autodidact mobile application ("App") and all related services, features, and content (collectively, the "Service").
Your Consent: By checking the "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" checkbox and tapping "Create Account" (or similar affirmative action) during registration, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not check the agreement checkbox and do not create an account. You may not access or use the Service without agreeing to these Terms.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
- For significant changes, displaying an in-app notification requiring your acknowledgment
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1.2 Legal Capacity
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement
- You are not barred from using the Service under applicable law
- Your use of the Service will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
2. Account Registration
2.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
2.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Create a strong, unique password
- Not share your password with any third party
- Not use the same password you use for other online services
- Log out of your account when using shared devices
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
2.3 One Account Per Person
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.
3. License to Use the Service
3.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the App on a mobile device that you own or control
- Access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes
3.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the App or Service to any third party
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App or Service
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
4. AI-Generated Content
4.1 Nature of Content
The educational facts and content provided through the Service are generated using artificial intelligence technology. By using the Service, you acknowledge and understand that:
- Content is AI-generated: The facts presented are created by large language models, not human authors or subject matter experts
- Content may contain errors: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information
- Content is for educational entertainment: The Service is intended for informal learning and should not be relied upon as an authoritative source
- Content is not professional advice: Nothing in the Service constitutes professional, medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice
Accuracy Disclaimer: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it.
4.2 Content Reporting
If you encounter content that appears to be inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, please report it through the App or contact us. We review reported content and may remove or modify it at our discretion.
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses
5.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
5.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system
- Breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
Abuse and Misuse:
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service
- Use any automated system, including bots, spiders, or scrapers, to access the Service
- Attempt to manipulate the recommendation system or engagement metrics
- Create multiple accounts or use accounts registered by others
Illegal Activities:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Violate the intellectual property rights of others
- Engage in fraud or deception
- Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code
5.3 Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including but not limited to the App, its design, features, functionality, graphics, logos, icons, images, text, software, and all other content, is owned by Autodidact or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 AI-Generated Content Ownership
The AI-generated educational content displayed in the Service is owned by Autodidact. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the Service except as permitted.
6.3 User Feedback
If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and sharing of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

- Your personal data is not sent to AI services for content generation
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
8. Third-Party Services
8.1 Third-Party Providers
The Service may rely on third-party services for functionality, including cloud hosting and infrastructure, database services, email delivery services, and content generation (AI models for pre-generating facts).
We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
8.2 App Stores
The App is distributed through third-party app stores (e.g., Apple App Store). Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable app store.
9. Disclaimers
"As Is" and "As Available": THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT
- UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
Educational Content Disclaimer
THE CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS FOR GENERAL EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
- The Service is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise)
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
- You should independently verify any information before making decisions based on it
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ADIDACT INC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Reliance on any AI-generated content
Cap on Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, OR one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ADidact Inc, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
12. Account Termination
12.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" feature in the App's Settings or by contacting us.
12.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases, and we may delete your account and all associated data.
13. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including adding or removing features, changing the user interface, modifying content or algorithms, and changing system requirements.
We have no obligation to maintain or support any feature of the Service or to continue operating the Service indefinitely.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceeding, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve any dispute informally.
14.3 Arbitration Agreement
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and ADidact Inc agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.
14.4 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND ADIDACT INC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
14.5 Opt-Out
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and ADidact Inc regarding the Service.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
